Dear Beers Street Families,
School is closed on Monday for Memorial Day.
The 6th Grade had a great field trip experience at the Manasquan Reservoir today!
Field Day is next Friday, May 31st, and the rain date is Monday, June 3rd. Students will receive a Field Day t-shirt courtesy of the PTO. The PTO will also provide a frozen treat at the end of the day. If your child needs sunscreen, they should apply it at home before school. They may bring it to school and apply more at lunchtime. There will be a water station for students to visit throughout the day so they can stay hydrated. Students are welcome to bring refillable water bottles (labeled with their names). All students should wear comfortable sneakers. You can see the flyer that was sent home this week.
All of our students are reading Ungifted by Gordon Korman for our schoolwide reading event. We hope to inspire a love of reading! Thank you PTO for purchasing the books!
