Dear Beers Street Families,
Today Hazlet Middle School principal, Mr. Albrizio, came and spoke at an assembly for 6th grade. He told them what to expect, answered questions, and got them excited for 7th grade.
Our Odyssey of the Mind team is competing in the state competition this weekend. They previously came in 1st place locally; we are so excited for them! If they are one of the top-finishing teams, they will advance to the World Championship in Michigan. The team has been working so hard, and they are prepared for this moment. Good luck Beers Street O.M. Team!!
On Wednesday, April 5th, Heroes and Cool Kids will visit with our 5th grade.
Spring Recess is just around the corner. School is closed for Spring Recess from Friday, April 7th, through Friday, April 14th. Students return on Monday, April 17th.

Language arts tutoring is offered on Tuesdays, and math tutoring on Thursdays. Tutoring sessions go from 2:50 - 3:45 PM. There is no bus for tutoring. Therefore parents should make transportation arrangements. If you would like your child to attend tutoring, please complete this form and return it to your child's homeroom teacher.
Online Homework Help will also begin next week. Online homework help is offered Monday through Thursday from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. Students can ask questions, go over homework, or review a concept they may need help understanding. Students must join the Online Homework Help Google Classroom to attend.
