Today students exchanged kindness telegrams with their buddies. Next week students may purchase Pirate Booty for $1, write a kind telegram, and deliver it to any student or teacher. All funds raised support field day activities.

The PTO Easter chocolate fundraiser has begun. Flyers were sent home today. You can also see the flyer online. Instructions - Catalog - Order Form Orders must be submitted no later than March 27th.

You can raise money for the PTO by shopping at Five Below from 3/19 - 3/25. Flyers were sent home today, or click here to learn more and print the flyer.

The PTO is meeting on Tuesday, March 21st, at 6:00 PM. Please park in the rear of the school and enter through door #12.

Heroes and Cool Kids will visit with 5th graders on Tuesday next week.

The Kids Heart Challenge runs until March 24th. Students will participate in physical challenges in their gym classes and raise funds for children with special hearts. Please consider giving to this worthy cause. You can find out more here at Beers Street's Kids Heart Challenge.

Attention 6th grade families: You can submit a short message congratulating your child and have it featured in our yearbook. You can submit up to 4 messages per child. Each message will cost $4.00. The deadline is March 29th. Click here to learn more about 6th grade yearbook boosters.

When emailing the school nurse about your child's absence, please send the email to bssattendance@hazlet.org. You may also continue to report absences by calling nurse Pat Raphael at 732 264-1107, ext. 3003. Thank you!
