2024-25 Superintendent Goals: Hazlet Township School District

Goal #1: The superintendent will create and participate on a committee that will review data to evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and instruction, and make adjustments that will result in improved student academic achievement. To that end, by May 15, 2025, the superintendent will deliver to the Board an academic presentation that will include verifiable components for evidence of achieving the goal.
Goal #2: The superintendent will demonstrate a commitment to the value of Professional Development by ensuring that all staff members have access to and opportunities for professional development that is specific to the needs of the students and the district. By May 15, 2025, the superintendent will share with the Board the following evidence of achieving this goal:
• A PD calendar that identifies when district-specific PD opportunities were offered to staff members.
• A spreadsheet that identifies those staff members who participated in PD, when they attended, and the topics that were covered.
Goal #3: The superintendent will develop a communication strategy that will assist all members of the school district to identify and understand the priorities of the district. Additionally, the superintendent will develop a tool to collect information about what people’s perceptions are to serve as evidence of this goal. Additional evidence will be in the form of a report, delivered to the board by May 15, 2025, which outlines the strategies that have been put in place.
