A Message from Dr. Bragen, Superintendent of Schools
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of one of our high school students affected by a recent tragedy. At this most difficult time, our students and families continue to remain our number one priority. The primary focus of the Hazlet Township School District is to ensure that we are proactive in providing the necessary services needed for our students’ wellbeing.
To assist our community during this tragedy, we have a plan in place to ensure that our Student Assistance Counselor, Child Study Team and Guidance Counselors are continually available to meet with students to provide them with an appropriate forum to discuss any concerns they may have during this difficult time.
We will offer as much support as possible to all those in need to help our community deal with this tragedy. To that end, our Student Assistance Counselor, Child Study Team and Guidance Counselors are continually meeting with students to provide them with an appropriate forum to discuss any concerns they may have during this difficult time.
The Hazlet Township School District respects the right of children to grieve in their own way and will continue to assist students through this terrible tragedy. We encourage our students to continue to reach out to our counselors if they need assistance.
Any student or community member that may need support in dealing with this recent tragedy can call 732-264-8411 (ext.1011) to access counseling services.
